Dr. Melanie Mook Melanie A. Mook, O.D. Dr. Mook is a graduate of the UC Berkeley School of Optometry and has been in practice for 16 years. After graduation, she completed a low vision and primary care residency at the Veteran’s Administration Medical Center in Palo Alto, California. She is a former Assistant Clinical Professor at UC Berkeley with 4 years experience on the faculty, teaching advanced clinical procedures and designing a program to train doctors in new clinical techniques. Dr. Mook is proud to provide state of the art care to her patients, and practices full-scope optometry. She is happy to provide a range of services, from performing an exam on an infant or fitting a teenager with contact lenses, to managing laser refractive or cataract surgeries. Dr. Mook is the mother of 3 children, and in her spare time, has been known to offer them advice on topics as diverse as cursive writing to the finer points of soccer. |
