A comprehensive eye exam - unlike a simple eye screening - measures a number of visual skills that are critical to healthy vision. It also spots other health problems like diabetes, glaucoma and hypertension. By preventing, detecting and treating eye diseases early on, you can stop problems before they become serious and costly. It all starts with a comprehensive eye exam. We recommend that everyone have a comprehensive eye exam at least every two years - more frequently if there is an eye or vision problem or family history of eye disease.
